Sigmondo 5.0.0 is available!
This is a major update; the app has been completely redeveloped behind the scenes, whilst aiming to retain most of the existing features and add useful new ones.
Notes for long-term users:
- the folder structure has been revised and, in our view, simplified
- there is now just one ‘Logo Media’ folder; both playlists can access it, just as was the case with the ‘Background Media’ folder
- the ‘Playlists’ folder (including ‘Schedule’) has been removed. Don’t panic – our update process will start the first time you launch the new app; it will recognise the content and move it to the correct new folders.
- the contents have been moved to the ‘Main Area Media’ folder, whilst logos have been placed in the ‘Logo Media’ folder.
- And we think it’s turned out really well: you can create your own folders within the Media Area folder, which you can then assign to the Default or Schedule Playlist in the settings!
Although we have prepared this change very carefully and tested it extensively over a long period, unforeseen issues may still arise. Please therefore take some time after the update to familiarise yourself with the new version.
